All sessions are held at our class and pool in Malibu and open water dives are conducted at Catalina Island, Anacapa Island and one of our local Malibu beaches.  (If you don't have a week to devote, do it in 2 weekends with our regular course or even less with eLearning!!) We're able to accommodate just about any schedule, ask us how.

Class and Pool Sessions start daily at 9:00 AM and run until 5:00 PM on most days. All classes are taught by certified SCUBA Instructors. (Parents are always welcome and encouraged to join students in the course.)

Advanced Open Water dives are conducted at Catalina Island, Anacapa Island and  one of our local Malibu beaches.  Ranked as one of the top ten diving destinations in the world today, Catalina Island and our local waters in southern California offers you the chance to see a breathtaking underwater environment filled with a boundless array of life.  We take you to see the best that scuba has to offer in southern California.  Enjoy the kelp forest, colorful Garibaldi, moray eel, halibut and other marine life unique to California. The Malibu Divers staff will lead all training dives.  Why go any where else?

The cost of the SCUBA Camp includes all instructional materials, (textbook and video or CD-ROM and eRecreational dive tables), lifetime certification card, instruction tuition, use of our SCUBA  equipment in the pool and ocean (tanks, regulator, buoyancy compensator, wetsuit, hood, and weights), transportation via Catalina Express, and while in Catalina, and your own personal scuba knife and use of our rental underwater digital camera.  Students are expected to have their own personal snorkeling gear including mask, fins, snorkel, booties, gloves, and gear bag.  Meals, personal expenses, parking at the Catalina Express and transportation to the Catalina Express are not included.  Every effort will be made to car pool to the port of Long Beach.

You must  be in good health, know how to swim, and bring a bathing suit, towel, suntan lotion, water, and shoes. We include lunch  and snacks on the academic class and pool days of the camp.  All other gear will also be provided.

An orientation session is required when signing up for SCUBA Camp.   A parent or legal guardian must be present too complete the paper work and at this time the student can be professionally fitted for their SCUBA equipment (BCD, Wetsuit, Hood).
