Deep sea fishing isn't for everyone.  Some divers just prefer looking at fish, and eating their fish from the local grocery stores or markets.  The International Game Fish Association- Royal Slam Club has very specific rules about how someone qualifies for this title.  Interestingly enough - IGFA encourages catch and release.

And, to put it into perspective, all I can find is 90 times this record has been recorded across 80 or so anglers, in the last edition of the IGFA's Year Book, who have previously achieved this feat.  The Davis family, long time Malibu locals and scuba divers, hold 7 of the 90 records in this division.

Now that Wes is 10 years old, we're looking forward to him joining his parents scuba diving as well.
