Beyond The Basics
Build Your Scuba Diving Skills Gradually & Gain More Confidence
As you step beyond the PADI Open Water Diver (beginner) level, you will likely want more experience diving with an instructor.
You can make three additional training dives and have the opportunity to try some of diving’s most rewarding and useful specialty activities, such as deep diving, underwater photography, wreck diving and much more. These skills will make diving much more than underwater sightseeing. Plus, the Adventure Diver course takes you one step closer to Advanced Open Water Diver, the next level of recreational diving.
In the Adventure Diver course, with your Malibu Diver Instructor you choose three additional dives from more than 15 Adventure Dives available to complete your course. You can complete the deep and underwater navigation Adventure Dives that are also required for your Advanced Open Water Diver. These dives boost your confidence as you build these foundational skills. In addition, you can go diving at night, check out the local wrecks in the area or even fly through the ocean on a diver propulsion vehicle – all during your PADI Adventure Diver course. Each Adventure Dive in the PADI Adventure and Advanced Open Water Diver course may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course.
Optional, when you include underwater navigation adventure dive, you can enroll in the Rescue Diver course.
This certification uses the same classroom training materials as the Advanced Open Water certification and a brief quick quiz with an Instructor. It also requires the completion of three (3) Open Water ocean dives. These dives can be conducted over one day or over several days depending on your schedule and types of dives. For example, certified Open Water divers can complete 2 additional Adventure dives during their Open Water weekend in Catalina and one (1) other dive at a later date.
All you need to do is let us know which options you would like to enroll
