Malibu Divers Scuba Diving for Girl Scouts offers girls ages 12 and older the world's premier personal growth and leadership development experience. The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA), a chartered council with Girl Scouts of the USA, supports nearly 45,000 girls in partnership with more than 22,000 volunteers through council-sponsored girl scuba diving programs and activities, local resources and support, and adult learning opportunities.
Scuba diving offer a new, exciting experience to girls at a high value, minimal cost and time. Malibu Divers conforms to Safety-Wise standards to ensure a safe and consistent environment and offers a continuing education program for more advance training, new skills, and experiences.

Requirements (Safety-Wise & PADI)
- At least 12 years old and not above the age of 14, may enter as Junior Open Water or Jr. Advanced Open Water; begin over the age of 15 to earn Open Water Certification. A 12 to 14-year-old Junior Open Water Diver is qualified to dive only when accompanied by another certified diver who is of legal age (18); training is the same as Open Water.
- Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water
Lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Professional in the pool; master some basic concepts and scuba skills. Minimum number - 4; No equipment is necessary - everything is provided!
NEXT "Try Scuba" Classes are available usually on the Sunday's of the month; check the Calendar, and email or call for a reservation for your Troop at least 2-3 weeks in advance.

Girls learn to dive with a PADI Professional and earn the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world; you'll have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional.
Earn your life-time scuba certification during a week stay on Catalina at Camp Emerald Bay. While there, you get to finish all your required ocean dives. All transportation to and from the island, five days of diving at Emerald Bay AND all meals and lodging are covered in our package.
Girls expand your dive experience with a PADI Professional with this certification includes 5 Adventure Dives, including the Deep Dive, the Underwater Navigator Dive and 3 of the following:
