Where Future Divers Begin Life Long Adventures

The PADI Seal Team is for young divers (8 years old and up) who are looking for an action-packed, adventurous program filled with exciting scuba "AquaMissions."

Have you ever wondered what it's like to dive with flashlights, take pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an Astronaut? If you have, this is your chance to explore these exciting adventures in a swimming pool.

As a PADI Seal, you learn the basics of safe diving and explore different AquaMissions - or specialty dives - like wreck, navigation, buoyancy, underwater photography, environmental awareness and more. Here's your chance to explore cool AquaMissions, meet friends and share in the adventure of the underwater world. And best of all - join a winning team - become a PADI Seal Team Member!

The PADI Seal Team program is an exciting underwater activity-filled introduction to the world of diving. The PADI Seal Team program gives young people a chance to swim around underwater and experience adventure, discovery and thrills. In addition, it provides parents with a structured program that lets their children develop skills, learn about the aquatic environment and have a lot of good, clean fun. This is also an excellent way to introduce kids to SCUBA diving prior to full Open Water Diver certification. All Aqua Missions conducted in Malibu Divers pool or in your private pool. Upon successful completion of the first 5 Aqua Missions, students become a PADI Seal Team members. Upon successful completion of 10 additional specialty Aqua Missions, students become Master Seal Team members.

What do I need to start my registration?
A completed and signed PADI Seal Team program statement. A YES answer to any of these items requires that a participant obtain written medical approval before being allowed to participate in scuba diving activities. If this applies, please download the Medical Statement (#10063) to take to the physician.

How long will it take?
Approximately 1-2 hours per Aqua Mission depending on the size of the class and the mastery development by each child.  This program can be scheduled on demand and private lessons or for groups.  Typical series of Aqua Missions can best be scheduled for several days in a row or over several consecutive weeks.  Start looking at weekend dates on our Calendar for when we are in the pool.  For the first session, ideally it would take place on a Saturday.  Subsequent PADI Seal Team sessions can happen on Saturday's or Sunday's.  If weekends don't work for you and your group - ask us about private sessions.
